Julia Barfield of Marks Barfield, designers of the London Eye,
will be discussing recently completed projects, including The
Lightbox, winner of this year's Art Fund Prize; the Michael
Tippett School, the first British Schools Foundation project in
London; and the Lincoln Innovation Centre.

The issue of how to embed sustainability into a project from its
inception is one that concerns architects and engineers alike.
Rather than sustainability being an afterthought, the lecture will
explore the importance and realities of embedding sustainability
issues from the beginning.
